KLCube Participates in the National Library for Persons with Disabilities' Korean Sign Language Vide
KLCube has been selected to participate in the 2026 Korean Sign Language Video Book Production Project led by the National Library for Persons with Disabilities.
The initiative aims to improve reading accessibility and access to information for Deaf users by producing a wide range of books and informational content in Korean Sign Language (KSL).
Rather than relying solely on subtitles, the project focuses on delivering content through natural KSL video, enabling Deaf users to understand and engage with information more effectively.
The project will continue through December 2026 and includes both the production of KSL video books and ongoing service operations.
As digital accessibility and inclusive access to information become increasingly important across the public, education, and cultural sectors, this initiative represents a meaningful effort to expand information accessibility for people with disabilities.
As part of the project, KLCube will contribute its expertise in AI sign language avatar technology and Korean-to-Korean Sign Language translation technology to create natural, easy-to-understand sign language content.
Drawing on its experience delivering AI-powered sign language services for public institutions, healthcare providers, and transportation services, the company aims to further promote accessibility in the cultural and reading sectors.
