HandSignTalkTalk v1.0 Wins New Software Product Award
KLCube's AI-powered sign language translation service, HandSignTalkTalk v1.0, has been honored with the New Software Product Award, receiving the Minister of Science and ICT Award.
The award ceremony was held on May 13, where CEO Jonghwa Kim and Development Team Manager Hyeshin Ahn were recognized as the award recipients.
The New Software Product Award is one of Korea's leading software awards, recognizing outstanding software developed domestically. Winners are evaluated based on technological innovation, commercial potential, product quality, and market scalability.
Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and organized by the Federation of Korean Information Industries (FKII), the award is widely regarded as one of the country's most prestigious software honors. Award-winning products are also considered as candidates for the Korea Software Awards later in the year.
The recognition is particularly meaningful because relatively few solutions in the field of AI-powered digital accessibility have received this distinction. It acknowledges not only the technological innovation behind the solution but also its social impact in improving information accessibility and communication for Deaf users.
Following this achievement, HandSignTalkTalk v1.0 was further advanced into the core technology behind HandSignVerse, KLCube's AI sign language avatar platform. Building on this foundation, KLCube continues to expand its portfolio of AI-driven digital accessibility solutions across a wide range of public and private services.
