AI Sign Language Avatars Integrated into Namyangju Smart Tourism Map
KL Cube’s AI sign language avatar technology has been integrated into the Namyangju Smart Tourism Map (Jeong Yak-yong’s City Namyangju), operated by Namyangju.
Through this integration, a sign language avatar directly guides users through information on major tourist attractions—including Jeong Yak-yong Library, Sujongsa Temple, and the Mongolia Culture Village—supporting the city’s ongoing initiative to build an open and inclusive tourism environment.
This implementation is particularly significant as it moves beyond text-based tourism guidance, substantially improving real-world usability for sign language users and Deaf visitors. It represents an early example of accessibility-first design in digital tourism services.
KL Cube continues to support the expansion of inclusive information access across tourism and cultural sectors and plans to further collaborate so that sign language–based accessibility becomes a natural component of diverse city services.
