Held the advisory meeting for the development of sign language
KLCube recently hosted an “Advisory Meeting for the Advancement of Sign Language”, inviting members of the Deaf community to share their insights and experiences.
The meeting focused on two main discussion topics:

The practicality of text-based communication for Deaf users — Participants shared their honest views on whether text communication truly serves as a convenient means of information delivery, highlighting the limitations it often presents.

Government support for the development of Korean Sign Language — Although relevant legal frameworks are in place, participants emphasized the lack of actual government support and discussed the areas where such assistance is most urgently needed in daily life.
Through open dialogue, the meeting shed light on the challenges of relying solely on text communication and identified key priorities for government involvement. It became a meaningful forum to explore the future direction of sign language development based on the lived experiences of Deaf individuals.
