KL Cube Expands AI Sign Language Avatar Services into Thailand’s Tourism Market
KL Cube signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) on December 4 with DOWHAT, an OTA platform, and Hytop Technology, a kiosk technology company, to expand the deployment of AI sign language avatar services across hotels, resorts, and tourist facilities in Thailand.
Thailand is one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations. However, due to the nature of the tourism industry, sign language interpreters are rarely available on-site, creating long-standing structural barriers to information access for Deaf travelers.
KL Cube’s AI sign language avatar is designed to address these challenges by enabling equal access to essential services such as check-in procedures, facility guidance, and reservation information—allowing all visitors to access information independently and conveniently.
This collaboration represents a meaningful overseas commercialization milestone for KL Cube’s accessibility technology. Starting with Thailand, the company plans to expand its services across the tourism and hospitality sectors throughout Southeast Asia.
KL Cube remains committed to establishing global accessibility standards, ensuring that approximately 430 million Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals worldwide can access travel information seamlessly, wherever they are.
